When I was nominated last month… I was the OLD GUY in the race. Now…I’m the YOUNG GUY!

I’ve listened to you and those asking for your vote.

Republican challengers at all levels promise change.

Take them up on it.

Democratic incumbents - time and time again – "beg for your vote with reports of accomplishments they never achieve".

We REPUBLICANS want your vote so we can clean up Maryland. 29 years of accumulated...well you know.

I TOOK ACTION - by filing to be your next Comptroller …and with my ONE VOTE I will vote FOR CHANGE.

You must use your 500,000 VOTES TO MAKE THAT CHANGE

Democratic leaders want a bigger tax base to support better infrastructure and access.

Yet…they scared away all the manufacturers who could create a Gross State Product.

I know.

20 some Years ago I helped move The Bendix Corporation – Avionics to Ft. Lauderdale and Radio to Newport News.

I’m Gene Zarwell the REPUBLICAN NOMINEE for Comptroller.

As a contractor to our Federal Government…I audited every Governor’s office in the country to build cohesive staffs and establish tight operational budgets.

I restructured 106 state agencies in less than 18 months and made them more cost effective.

You need legitimate, credible, accountable and responsible leadership to make good government fiscally sound.

We need to throw out the RESIDUE from the Glendenning Townsend team.

Look…I apologize for Glendenning because I grew up in Wisconsin…too!

I had a professor in college who became a credible Republican Governor of that State.

We need to elect a credible Governor for Maryland.

Surpluses…like many years of insider collusion in the legislature breed corruption …greed…and pork barreling.

In the private sector we call surpluses – PROFIT - and

usually it is returned to those who took the risk.

Have you heard what Democratic leadership says

about returning your monies?

They cry like babies over it – as if they believe we want

them to decide how to dispose of our money.

They squander it.

Look…the government is NOT entitled to your money…although they call a great percentage of your money - THEIR ENTITLEMENTS.

Tax laws establish guidelines for your fair share of REASONABLE and PRUDENT expenditures on your behalf.

We used to get value and services…now we support bureaucrats and huge staffs who give it away instead of maintaining the state’s infrastructure.

You need a controller who can make the tough decisions to balance the budget.

Tax laws should favor taxpayers not penalize us.

The only remedy that will work is ridding Maryland’s government of Glendenning – Townsend residue…from top to bottom.

Another matter…Maryland’s Judiciary is a joke outside of court.

Inside as well…come to think about it… political "fraud on

the Court" right out of the top cop’s shop.

I heard him speak about programs he says are planned.

Yet…he cannot talk about accomplishments during his time at our expense.

Maryland has HAD ENOUGH of his "collusion" and phony cases for political gain.

It seems every four years we hear how the Democrats want to protect your money, protect your rights, and they will fight for you.

Ask yourself…why is Kathleen Kennedy Townsend ALWAYS ANGRY to the point she cannot compose a sentence.

WHO IS SHE FIGHTING?

Is she fighting herself because she doesn’t have it –

you know – the RIGHT STUFF to be a responsible leader.

Or is she trying to imply she can PROTECT YOU from the Democratic Leadership.

Four top State officials couldn’t protect your money…One Billion dollars lost last year and the State - retirement fund in shambles even as they collect social security and their triple dippin’ retirement pays.

Change can only happen if you VOTE STRAIGHT REPUBLICAN.

I want to thank William Donald Schaefer for opening the door to change.

Let’s retire him with pride and dignity…he earns that respect at age 80.
